Here's some quick background knowledge: I was adopted June 10 from Patina. This date is my adoption date--but since my exact birthday isn't known--we just celebrate then. My name, Beet Flamingo, originates from a theory. Said theory states that since Flamingos are pigmented by eating shrimp, that if they feasted on beets; they would become a darker shade of pink.
